Senior Boy in Railroad Square - Senior Portrait Photography in Sonoma County

October 6th, 2011

Derek and I ventured to Railroad Square in Santa Rosa, which also happened to be where I photographed his siblings a few years ago. It really is a perfect spot for “boy” portraits with all the stone and brick backgrounds and not to mention the beautiful colors the sunset provides along those railroad tracks. What I loved most about Derek’s session is the variety of glasses he brought - just like girls bring shoes, Derek brought glasses. ;)

Let’s just start with the Ray Bans …

Katelyn + Cassidy - June Wedding at Paradise Ridge Winery - Part One

July 23rd, 2011

{katelyn + cassidy = love!}

This will be a two part wedding blog, mostly because there are so many images that I want to share with you, and you, and you! :)  First of all, Katelyn should be a wedding coordinator - she had all her details down to the capital T, including bringing her own bedding accessories for her hotel room, that of course matched the bridesmaids dresses. Seem over the top? Well no, it was her sweet details that brought everything together for their wedding.

We’ll start with her “love” wire wedding dress hanger.. <3

Paradise Ridge Winery - June Wedding Photography

June 29th, 2011

The wedding of Tracy and Jason has been a long time in making. We first met December of 2009, where I met the couple, Tracy’s mom Debbie. They hired me on the spot and we photographed T+J’s engagement that same day. It was so much fun and everyone was so excited to work with each other, that I couldn’t believe I had to wait another year and a half to photograph their wedding. But you know what? Good things are worth the wait!

{tracy started out the morning at mockingbird heights salon, petaluma, ca}

{notice tracy’s “air force bride” top - so cute}

{tracy added a pink satin flower accent to each ballet shoe}

{everything matched perfectly}

{the groom and saber arch in their handsome uniforms}

{the groom’s cake}

{the ceremony! by the way, that kiss was electric!}

{guests enjoying time on paradise ridge winery’s beautiful patio}

{love in the wine country}

{time to celebrate}

{party hats - a must!}

{this is what i call “oo-la-la”}
