As Nicole was leaving the studio after her baby’s first photo date, she said “thank you!” … in which I replied, “Thank you and Brian for having a beautiful baby girl.” What’s not to love about Stella? (Nicole, don’t tell me - I’m in baby-wonderland!) She has the softest, yummy-smelling skin, and sweet lips, and not to mention those big blue eyes. Stella’s only three months old and over the course of this year, I’ll be seeing a lot more of her.

Nicole and Brian received a baby shower gift certificate for my First Twelve - babies first year program. At the end of the year, they will have a collection of prints, a cute baby album, and memories of when she was so tiny.

Jennifer and Orlando are the lucky winners of a family portrait session from a silent auction held by the 20-30 Club of the Redwood Empire. We had a great time this morning out at Ragle Park in Sebastopol. The sun was out, the weather was pretty warm, and the light was just right for capturing the fun spontaneity and curiousness of little Gabriella.

So, as you may have figured out by now, I have a new studio on my hands, which is very exciting! And as promised this blog shows some images taken in the new studio. 

Our first session was with a family from Healdsburg. I had photographed baby Sergio last year when he was all rolls and cuteness. Well, the rolls made have gone away, but the cuteness factor is still there!

Brian and Nicole have been one my most photographed couple since early 2007. We’ve hiked to the highest lookout over the Napa Valley together, practically cried together at their wedding ceremony in Carmel together (well, I was at the back of the church and they were obviously at the front, but I’m sure it was at the same time!), planned a surprise 50th anniversary print for Brian’s parents, and now we’re continuing the life-cycle with the birth of their first baby.
