Norah’s Gallery Show at East West Cafe

Thursday, May 1st, 2008

Well, it’s May 1st and that means that last night concluded my month long show at East West Cafe. All my prints are back “home” now, aka: in my studio. I received so many great comments from family, friends, neighbors, customers, and especially the crew at East West Cafe. Words such as “Beautiful” “The best work we seen here” “I especially liked…” … I know this may sound cheesy, but it makes my heart warm and restores another level of confidence in my work. So, THANK YOU!Here are some pictures my lovely husband Spencer took of me in front of East West Cafe:

Now that I have my prints back I can finally complete the last phase of my studio’s revamping! I’m SO excited! And surely, I will post pictures as soon as those are ready.

So, for now, take care and I’ll see you again soon!

Leonie and Mark - engagement session

Another perfect day in fall leaves!

Just this past weekend Leonie, Mark, along with my husband and I, went to capture some fun photographs with the fall leaves. The rain that happened just a few days before meant that there were plenty of freshly fallen leaves and they provided the perfect backdrop.

Leonie and Mark just bought a daschund puppy, named Ginger, and she was the perfect model. Of course she also ran around like a little turbo jet!

The Dog Days of Summer at Montgomery Village

Wednesday, September 26th, 2007

Hello Everyone!

I suppose I should welcome myself back to my blog, seeing that it’s been a month since my last update (!).

On September 15th, I went to Montgomery Village for their Dog Days of Summer Event, which was co-hosted by Assistance Dog Institute (ADI). There were so many dog-related vendors - from groomers, to dog-walkers, to pet stores, to dog education.

I had the pleasure of offering Dog Photography and set up my studio. I brought my whole studio - all my lights, chairs for props, and a special background. As soon as we started we had a line waiting to take their photograph either with their dog or of their dog. This was also a fundraising event! From each package Norah Burrows Photography donated a portion back to ADI and in total we donated over $60.00!

This was such a fun day - I hope to see you at the next Montgomery Village Event.

Of course I cannot leave without sharing a few of my favorites :)
