My new website is officially launched!

Thursday, September 4th, 2008

Hello Friends!

I’m very excited to announce that my newly designed website is now online! It even has that fresh new baby smell. ;)

So come visit me to see a whole new portfolio of weddings and portraits from families, senior, babies, and even our furry friends.

Lastly, any project on this scale could not have been completed without the help from my web designer Alex Wayne at Beautiful Pixel. THANK YOU Alex!

From,

Norah

It’s that Senior time of year!

Tuesday, August 26th, 2008

I’ve been getting lots of calls asking about senior photography, so I thought I would let everyone know a little about my studio’s senior photography experience.

First of all, I specialize in having fun! The photography that I create for you is a mixture of traditional and a little bit of edginess, because I want to creative photographs for you and your mom. Also, I give more individual attention to each of my graduates that come to my studio than your average photographer that specializes in senior photography. I do not want to photograph hundreds of seniors a year, which gives me more creative and quality time with YOU!

Most of my sessions take place on different locations in Sonoma County - I’ll travel any where from a garden setting to the urban streets to the beach. I also offer indoor studio photography if that is what you prefer - though I don’t have any of those cheesy “2009″ signs, so if that’s what you are looking for, then you know what studio to go to.  My studio sessions are $95.00 and my outdoor photography starts at $125.00. Each session comes with a 64 FREE wallets pictures or a 10 page proof book when you order within 30 days of your session.

Oh, and packages start at only $175.00. Wow!

If you are interested, please call Norah Burrows Photography at (707)824-1602.

And just because you read through this blog, here’s a little online special for you to print out and bring in with your senior portrait order.

Many seniors don’t know what to do when it comes time for Senior Portraits. They either don’t know what to wear or even where to take their pictures. That’s when a professional photographer comes in handy.I got a call from Glena’s mom a month or so ago. We had met during a massage session at my local favorite spa - this is when I splurge! - in fall of last year. So, hearing her voice on the other line, I was excited to have the opportunity to photograph her daughter’s senior portraits. By the way, Glena proved that it’s never too late to take your senior portraits! She had already graduated and is currently going to college, but she missed out on going to a professional for her pictures. After a phone consultation, we decided on some clothing selections and a location to best fit their needs. Here are a few images from this morning’s session taken at Juilard Park and Luther Burbank Gardens in Santa Rosa.grettaanddogglenaAnd a personal photo …flower010.jpg

Norah’s Gallery Show at East West Cafe

Thursday, May 1st, 2008

Well, it’s May 1st and that means that last night concluded my month long show at East West Cafe. All my prints are back “home” now, aka: in my studio. I received so many great comments from family, friends, neighbors, customers, and especially the crew at East West Cafe. Words such as “Beautiful” “The best work we seen here” “I especially liked…” … I know this may sound cheesy, but it makes my heart warm and restores another level of confidence in my work. So, THANK YOU!Here are some pictures my lovely husband Spencer took of me in front of East West Cafe:

Now that I have my prints back I can finally complete the last phase of my studio’s revamping! I’m SO excited! And surely, I will post pictures as soon as those are ready.

So, for now, take care and I’ll see you again soon!
