This loving family of three have been coming to me for three years now. We had so much fun throwing leaves in the air and I got my exercise by following this little guy around the park. We ended the session with singing “The Itsy Bitsy Spider” … how could you not help but smile?

I just love it when the couple makes a natural heart shape.

Coincidence? I think not!

I’m so lucky to have a diverse career where I am photographing baby toes one week, anxious graduates the next, and then the celebration of love the next week.

This past Saturday, Spencer and I traveled to a hip little place called Santana Row in San Jose, to photograph the marriage of Kimberly and Mark. The fun part about being a witness to this special day was knowing that they were referred from Leonie and Mark who were married in the Wine Country at Trentadue Winery. So, knowing them, I knew it was going to be a fun wedding.

Fun it was, but it was also gorgeous. The color scheme of black, white and red complimented the reception venue, where the old world charm of an Italian restaurant, Maggiano’s, was also decorated in a similar combination. We were also lucky to use one of the fabulous walls at Santana Row, a bright red wall decorated with black lamp sconces. This tied the colors in perfectly, along with the sexy black dresses (reminiscent of Mad Men) the bridesmaids wore and of course the handsome men all dressed up in the tuxes. Kimberly and Mark looked fabulous as well, and her red bouquet of flowers and sparkles matched the theme.

I know, I know. There has been an abundance of babies on my blog lately. Perhaps I should rename my blog baby faces? …

Babies are irrestistable, but I have to say, I’ve been photographing some awesome senior sessions lately as well, so this post is to share some with you.
